Puppy Socials: Building confidence and social skills 🐾
Calling all Gympie puppy owners!
Do you have a new puppy aged 12–18 weeks? Looking for opportunities to introduce them to other puppies and new dogs? Want to learn more about how to appropriatley socialise your puppy? Or have questions about behaviours your puppy is practicing at home?
We host a monthly Puppy Social session designed to give you the opportunity to controlled socialisation in without the commitment of a long-term course.
What is included in the session
Socialising a puppy isn’t just about meeting other dogs. but finding the balance (specific to your puppy) of building value in you, providing apropriate social interactions in order to build social skills and confidence. In this one-hour session, we focus on:
Controlled Socialisation: Positive experiences in a safe, supervised environment with the right dogs.
Focus on You: We’ll practice engagement exercises to teach your puppy that, even when other dogs are are around, you are still the most important person in the room.
Q& A: We will have time at the end to discuss any issues you are experiencing which you would like more info on
Whether you're already doing training elsewhere or just starting out, this session is designed to complement your current routine and give you extra tools for success.
