Group Training is designed to develop real-world skills in a supportive setting with other dogs and their owners. Access to group training is built into all program options.
Emphasising functional obedience, handler engagement and social skills, our supportive, group classes help your dog learns to handle the everyday.

An immersive training experience where your dog stays in my home while we work intensively on their training foundations or behavioural goals. Unlike traditional kennel-style board-and-train programs, your dog becomes part of the household and practices skills in the home and in public.
These programs prioritise pet dog training beyond the training sessions. By having them stay in my home, I can reduce stress and build lifestyle habits and consistent training skills.
Your dog learns the basics, and I then reinforce the training in the types of environments your dog needs to be prepared for. Training doesnβt happen in one location; it happens in the real world, too.

Enrichment Services are structured training and exercise sessions designed to meet your dogβs mental and physical needs. These sessions focus on purposeful enrichment training, play, socialisation, and exploration of new places. They offer ideal support to help you reach your training goals faster.

A fun and engaging program that teaches dogs how to search for and indicate specific scents. Sniffer Dog School develops your dogβs natural scenting ability while building confidence, focus, and teamwork between dog and handler.
Sniffer Dog School offers multiple course levels to help you improve your skills over time.

*Group training access is included with both Private Coaching Programs, which normally cost $200 for 10 sessions.
This is where new clients start: a 90-minute session to discuss history and training goals, assess behaviour, and, if necessary, determine a starting point for ongoing training.
You will leave the session with actionable advice to implement straight away, a better understanding of who your dog is and why they do what they do, and access to the Adaptive K9 Community Hub.
In the community area, you can review training packages and additional services, including Group Classes, Private Coaching, HomeStay, and Enrichment Sessions. You are welcome to do so on an ongoing basis.
After you book your Initial Consult here you will receive an email with further information and a scheduling link. Private training is booked on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays & Saturdays. Saturday is usually booked out 2-3 weeks in advance.
*Travel costs apply for all sessions greater than 30km from Gympie.
A Digital Initial Consult is available for those wishing to access the HomeStay program but are outside of the travel zone for regular services. The HomeStay pickup area runs from south of Caloundra to north of Hervey Bay.
