A fun and engaging program that teaches dogs how to search for and indicate specific scents. Sniffer Dog School develops your dog’s natural scenting ability while building confidence, focus, and teamwork between dog and handler.
Currently booking course starting 23rd September @ 5pm
The program runs over 8 weeks. During this time you will learn how to teach your dog to search independently for their reward, how to find and identify the first target odour you will train on (Birch) and how to train an indication behaviour.
You will receive your own scent kit as part of this course so you can train at home.
This course provides an introduction to scent detection training and can be used to develop. a fun skill to train. at home or can be your foundation to train for detection sports such as Scent Work, Nosework or K9 Search Trials.
*Access available to any dog over 4 months of age (some venues may require vaccination records).
